Sawyer's First Day of Kindergarten

Sawyer started Kindergarten today! His Elementary school offers an "All-Day" Kinndergarten class that he really wanted to be in with a lot of his friends from his pre-school last year. He is super excited to eat lunch at school, and have recess! He is growing up so fast-I don't know what I'm going to do without him home with me during the day! I am going to miss that little guy!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kayson!!!

My baby boy turned 2 today! Instead of having a big family party, Jason and I decided to have a fun day with the boys. We headed out to Liberty Park for a picnic, and let the boys play in the water. They had so much fun "swimming" in the pond that is a replica of the Great Salt Lake.

After playing in the water, I decided to take the boys on the ferris wheel. We tried to talk Jason into coming with us, but he refused to get on "that rickety old thing!"

After a fabulous afternoon at the park we went home for pizza, and had both sets of grandparents over for cupcakes and ice cream. Jason and I had fun making the cupcakes, and I must say that Jason has become a pro at frosting cupcakes, due to his fascination with the show "Cup Cake Wars!"

We wrapped up the day with a few presents, including his "Tigger" that he loves to cuddle with, and a Hot Wheels 4-Wheeler, which he DID NOT LIKE when we gave it to him. He avoided it for about 3 days before he would go near it, but now we cant keep him off of it long enough for the battery to charge!

(Thank You Grandma Pam for the BULK SUPPLY of train whistles that you gave the boys!)

We LOVE You Kayson! Thank you for blessing our family with your wonderful little spirit!
